Summer Associate Program. Description for all Offices (Select the office of your strongest interest): We encourage qualified J.D. candidates to submit a resume for consideration. This includes students in their second year of law school, those enrolled in a joint degree or evening division program (when one summer remains prior to graduation), and third-year students who seek employment during preparation for the July Bar exam and prior to the start of a judicial clerkship. Excellent academic achievement in a top U.S. law school and journal experience or other significant writing experience preferred. Summer Associates are given assignments from a variety of practice areas including pro bono work. This provides a unique opportunity for practical training and mentoring at the highest level. Additionally, Summer Associates receive formal training through a variety of workshops and seminars. If you are interested in a sophisticated, culturally diverse, global practice with an impressive client base, and enjoy working in a fast-paced and collegial environment, this is a great opportunity for you.
